Delivery Driver (Casual)
Libraries Shared Services is a small, friendly team which provides support to Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East Libraries. We are looking for casual drivers to join our team, undertaking deliveries and collections of books and other materials to sites across the Cheshire Libraries network.

Are you a team player who can positively contribute to an efficient delivery services to our Cheshire Libraries network?
If so, we are looking to recruit casual drivers to join our Libraries Shared Services team, providing support to library services across Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East councils. You will be part of our dedicated team of drivers delivering library stock and materials using the service vans. You will be responsible for the safe running of the van and carry out daily maintenance checks and cleaning duties. You will be able to lift weight up to 15kg, sort and load/unload stock.
You must have a full, clean current driving licence.
You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to develop positive working relationships and be able to deal with varied situations in a positive manner.
This role is on a casual basis only, covering the regular drivers in their absence as and when required.

The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
