We have a fantastic opportunity available to join our Drivers Team at Carrs Pasties Ltd. Carrs Pasties is a company steeped in history, dating back to 1938 over three generations of family ownership.
Working rota:
- Thursday to Monday 7am to 3pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a variety of vehicles up to a weight of 3.5t.
- Deliver stock to our retail shops
- Load, unload, prepare and inspect the bakery products. Checking that the boxed orders match the order and delivery invoice.
- Ensure that the bakery products arrive at the customer location in a pristine / quality condition.
- Load frozen products, ensuring the amounts match the manifest, and are secure during transport.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle making sure that it is safe and well presented at all times, accurately completing the vehicle logs and reports.
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean and sanitised.
- Prepare stock for next day
- You maybe required to support other departments during quiet driving periods.
- Full training given for all company policy and procedures.
