Job description

We are seeking Delivery Driver to work in Canvey Island.

Working hours: every other week Monday- Friday 9.00-18.00

This is a permanent position, and we are seeking candidates seeking long term position and a career with the Company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities .

• Medication, equipment and other deliveries to Nursing Homes, GP Surgeries, Patients and our branches, including loading and unloading deliveries.
• Collect prescriptions from GP Surgeries to Pharmacy and the onwards delivery to the patients as required by the Distribution Centre (DC) or individual branches.
• Assisting the branches and DC for any loading and unloading requirements.
• Liaise and communicate information from care/nursing homes, surgeries, branches to the appropriate persons in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist other drivers in their rounds as requested by DC Manager, or senior person.
• To ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed to ensure an audit trial is available.
• To work to high standards of customer service.
• To present a professional image of the Company.
• To respect the confidentiality of information concerning patients and adhere to the Data Protection Act.
