What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores and vendors
- Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores and vendors, coordinate schedule with Parts Manager and Parts Associate
- Completes log at the time of delivery and request recipients signature
- Unload truck each night; turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts
- Help maintain the professional appearance of the Parts Department
- Ensure parts truck is washed weekly and waxed every two months
- Responsible for the basic upkeep of the truck; check oil with each fill-up
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
What are the requirements for this job?
- A high school diploma or the equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to use computer and calculator
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts
