Job description

We are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering kitchen appliances to customers in a timely and safe manner. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently and a valid and clean driver's license. The ideal candidate will have experience driving in urban areas and be familiar with local roads and traffic laws. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual and has a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload packages in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
• Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance when necessary.
• Good knowledge of all Northern motorways around lancashire and Yorkshire.

The position can be physically demanding at times.

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (required)
• Driving: 10 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• clean Driving Licence (required)
