Job description
Well established and growing company is looking for a Delivery Driver in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate must have previous driving experience and be available to work a full time schedule starting at 6am Tuesday - Friday and make deliveries all throughout AL, MS and FL.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for picking up and delivering product and materials from vendors and customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Follow proper invoice policy and procedure.
- Communicate effectively with the Dispatch Supervisor informing and updating the status of deliveries and condition of product.
- Drive vehicles to and from destinations, adhering to all DOT and traffic laws.
- Load and unload delivery goods.
- Comply with OSHA safety requirements.
- Ability to interact professionally with our customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Maintains safe and compassionate animal handling practices, at all times, while performing job duties.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn about all aspects of the animal care industry.
- Must be able to work a 55 hours a week and keep a company vehicle.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but is not required.
Physical Demands:
- Employee is frequently and regularly required to lift and carry in excess of 30-50 pounds, stoop, kneel or bend. The ability to stand for long periods of time is required.
- The ability to transport, handle and place animals in their appropriate enclosures is required.
- Employee must be able to move animals for shipping or that are received, including pushing, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
- In performing duties, employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp; and to reach with hands and arms, at or above shoulder level.
- Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment.
