Delivery Driver and Demonstration Vehicle Handover Specialist
Salary: £27,500
Location: Renault Trucks Scotland, Bellshill
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required.
We at Renault Trucks Scotland are currently seeking a dedicated Vehicle Collection and Delivery Driver to join our team at the Bellshill site. You will collect and deliver new and used trucks to our valued customers. Your duties will include the safe transportation of rental and lease vehicles, moving new chassis and trucks to and from bodybuilders, equipment suppliers, and customers, completing thorough handover and vehicle damage reports, and maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicles.

What You'll Do
You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of service and quality. Your role will require interaction with customers, bodybuilders, equipment suppliers, and colleagues from various departments.
  • Collection and Delivery: Efficiently collect and deliver New and Used Trucks and Vans, including Rental and lease vehicles.
  • Chassis Movement: Transport new chassis/trucks to and from Bodybuilders, equipment suppliers, and customers.
  • Vehicle Handover: Complete handover and vehicle damage report to ensure customers are well-informed and satisfied.
  • Vehicle Care: Clean, wash, or valet vehicles as required to maintain our standards of excellence.
  • Support: Assist in other business-related tasks related to the movement, delivery, or collection of vehicles.
  • Flexibility: Perform any other tasks related to vehicle movement, delivery, or collection as your supervisor or manager requires.
Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Driving Skills: Hold a current C + E driving license with a maximum of 3 points and a Driver CPC card (current).
  • Experience: Possess a relevant background and experience in commercial vehicle operations.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Safety: Show awareness of health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Regulations: Have a sound knowledge of driver hours rules and regulations.
  • Manual Handling: Be capable of undertaking manual handling tasks if required.
