We are looking for a Product Marketing Apprentice to join our Product Marketing team in Guildford.

You'll be a part of our UK&I ‘Product Marketing’ Team, based in our Guildford office. As a team we are responsible for driving the success of our professional luminaires. This includes:
  • Researching the lighting market, our customers requirements and our competitors offering, to define our product requirements for specific portfolio’s & applications
  • Assisting in the development of new products (professional luminaires) and ensuring all product data/material is available for launch
  • Launching new products and communicating their benefits and USP’s to our sales and design teams, and our customers
  • Reviewing product pricing, promotion and performance to verify their success
  • Evaluating a products sales and feedback to then input into the products future upgrades and/or new generations
As an Apprentice you will be enrolled with a local College/University and given day-release to complete your apprenticeship. The course will be specific to you, and previous Lighting Design Apprentices have studied Engineering, Project Management and Business Management.
During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Produce outdoor lighting calculations for Applications such Urban public spaces, Bridges & Facades, Road/Street/Car Parks and Sports Pitches/stadiums
  • Produce mains lighting and emergency lighting layouts for Indoor Applications such as Offices, Industrial Premises, Retail Stores & Hospitality spaces
  • Review design briefs to understand the client’s requirements and the technical performance requirements
  • Communicate with Key Account Managers to provide progress updates, discuss ideas and identify areas for possible innovation
  • Attend site visits and customer meetings where required
  • Update the project management database with design progress and ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Work closely with fellow Lighting Application Specialists to share best practice and grow capabilities
What you’ll need
  • Satisfactory GCSE (English and Maths included) & A Level attainment
  • Experienced using Microsoft Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
  • A fast learner, reliable and able to work to deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • An excellent & confident communicator, which includes giving presentations
  • Proactive with your approach
  • Resident in England and able to be based in the Guildford office
  • Between the age of 16 plus
