What you'll be doing
- Agreeing the timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project
- Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project
- Resource management of a project – ensuring we have the right people at the right time
- Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services
- Reporting regularly on progress to project stakeholders
- Resolving any issues/delays which may occur
- Reviewing project procedures
- Preparing the final report at the end of a project
- Giving clear timescales and objectives to the team
- Communicating with clients, contractors, colleagues and suppliers and, managing several projects simultaneously with a team of project managers to support you in the delivery.
These roles are available in the following locations: Birmingham and Aston.
Who we're looking for
- You will need a minimum of three A-Levels or equivalent and five GCSE’s grades 9-4 or A-C including Maths, English and Science
- A passion to develop your career within the Rail sector
- Eligibility to work and live in the UK at the time of joining
- Ideally hold a full UK driving licence at the time of joining
