To manage, grow and maintain ILS activities within the Managed Service within the Defence Sector. Be technically current and competent in a wide range of technologies to be able to either design & develop and deliver ILS interventions, using the latest ILS Strategies in line with the MoD Framework. Where appropriate manage, plan, and administrate complex ILS activities and strategies. You must have the ability to lead, create/develop strategy & policy and manage the ILS activities within the managed Service.
This is a desk-based role, within a secure environment with frequent travel across the UK. Please note - the role is subject to you having and maintaining a DV clearance which comes with monthly allowance.
- Producing complex ILS design solutions that meet the customer’s requirement & clearly communicate the requirements of the service to be provided
- ILS Modelling
- Identifying and communicating risk, in respect to any impact on delivery within customer/project SLA’s
- Working closely with customers, suppliers & stakeholders, maintaining the customer experience
- Asset Auditing/tracking & updating asset management databases with implemented design changes
- Working to agreed operational performance measures, whilst maintaining the appropriate level of product, network & system knowledge for the role
- A member of a Callout Rota

- Good IT Literacy skills. (MS Office) Able to manipulate data, prepare documents and presentations to our customers and wider project teams
- Prioritisation of complex logistical workloads, dealing with multiple complex customer requirements
- Ability to work both independently & collaboratively with internal / external customers and suppliers
- Customer focused & results driven
- You MUST hold and maintain the highest personal security credentials and accreditations as appropriate/required to carry out your role as authorised and required and as defined in the Security Aspects Letter (SAL) and the Defence Managed Services Contract
- You are to have strong collaborative leadership skills to create, develop and maintain Defence Managed Services; you need to be agile in approach in maintaining strong strategy, objectives and goals in regards to the operational service lifecycle of large complex highly secure technologies, locations, platforms and solutions using the ITIL service operations model and skillsets in support of the project
