Decontamination Technician | New Hall Hospital | Full Time 37.5 Hours Per Week
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and energetic individual to work in the Theatre Sterile Surgical Unit as a decontamination technician. Previous experience preferred but not essential. A willingness to learn is a must as technicians must work towards the appropriate qualification if they do not already hold one.
The role
The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures. You will support in supporting the sterile services process instruments and provide delivery to our key customers across a complex and changing caseload assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements. You will ensure patients they have a positive experience by providing excellent customer service.
This role will form part of a multi-disciplinary team including consultants. Part of your duties will include maintaining effective channels of communication, The hospital has a fast turnover and thus, flexibility and versatility is essential on a daily basis.
