We are looking for strong and enthusiastic Commis Waiting Staff to join our team in The Wallace Collection, the venue is open 10am – 5pm, so enjoy a great work life balance with daytime hours.
The Wallace Collection is located in the heart of Manchester Square, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea daily within a stunning courtyard setting.
You will be working amongst inspiring and breath taking masterpieces, welcoming our guests and serving them in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Training will be provided and there will be an opportunity for progression and development.
100% of Gratuity is split equally between the whole team regardless of their role, based on hours worked. Over the last 6 months (October 2022-March 2023), the average gratuity that the team received was £3.90 per hour added to their wage. Based on this average, the examples below show how much extra a member of the team would have earned in that time dependent on hours worked:
20 Hours = £78.00 per week
30 Hours = £117.00 per week
40 Hours = £156.00 per week
There will be opportunities to work at other sites and events within our team too if you wish to expand your experience and knowledge.
Main Responsibilities- Running food and drinks
- Clearing and setting up tables
- Polishing cutlery and crockery
- Supporting with restaurant opening and closing duties
- If required, taking orders, and serving beverages to guests
- Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Help answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices and related items
