Company description
Lochend Neighbourhood Centre is a charitable company providing day care and support services to older people living in the north east area of Edinburgh. We are situated within the grounds of Marionville Court Care Home, just off Lochend Road South.
Job description

This is a lovely role within the day centre where you are afforded the time to really get to know our members and their carers and build positive relationships.
For some, a visit to the day centre will be their only day out of the house each week. You will work alongside other support staff in creating a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere where everyone is included, valued, respected and cared for. You will encourage and support members to maintain their independence and empower them to make choices and decisions in all aspects of their care and support.
We are looking for someone who is caring; who enjoys listening and talking to others and who is enthusiastic in helping people achieve the things in life that are important to them. The role is varied and duties are changeable throughout the course of the day. You must have the ability to prioritize and work flexibly with colleagues to ensure tasks are achieved within required timescales.
