Job Description
- Preparing breakfast and giving it to clients & helping clients who need help in eating to do so.
- Assisting clients upon waking and helping them with personal hygiene and dressing.
- Making sure residents' rooms are kept tidy.
- Participating in activities with the residents.
- Providing our residents and visitors with refreshments.
- Ensuring clients have sufficient toiletries.
- Assisting catering staff with the preparation of food.
- Smiling and listening to our residents and creating a homely space.
- Keeping a record of care for all of our residents using the Mobile Care Monitoring system (training will be given).
Job Requirements
- DBS Clearance and References - The Old Vicarage pays for DBS Clearance.
- Flexibility regarding working hours.
- No experience is necessary as we are willing to train.
- Weekend availability.
Benefits
- Increment of £0.10 for NVQ 2.
- Increment of £0.15 for NVQ 3.
- A bonus of £2 per hour for exceeding contracted hours.
- 20 pence per mile commuting fuel allowance for journeys over 15 miles.
- Starting bonus of £250 (payable after 13 weeks trial period).
