At Guestline, we craft thoughtful products to help hoteliers effortlessly welcome and manage their guests. We provide Property Management Systems (PMS), Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS), travel agent integration, payment gateways and more.
About the role
We’re looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer to join our growing development team and help us with our product evolution. You’ll be working with Newbridge, our newly acquired market leading EPoS solution.
Each team owns a vertical and as a team member, you’ll help us discover, design, build and ship software solutions that enable our customers to deliver efficient and delightful guest experiences.

Required:
- Professional experience using: PHP 7.4+, Laravel 7+, JS/jQuery/HTML5/CSS
- Experience working with SQL Databases
- You'll be able to work independently on projects and manage your own workload
- You'll have a proven track record developing software with an attention to detail and a passion for quality
- Strong front-end skills with the ability to create easy to use UI’s
- Experience testing your code using functional/unit testing
- Willingness to engage in peer-review code review process
Desirable:
- Experience with Containerisation/Docker
- Experience working with Redis, including pub/sub
- Experience working with Websockets and Webhooks
- Knowledge of Event Driven software architectures and Microservices

Location
This is a remote first role, with very occasional travel for our twice-annual team conference. Our office locations are Shropshire, UK, Munich, Germany, or Poznan, Poland. We can employ candidates located and with the right to work in one of those countries.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer relocation or sponsor visas if you’re outside of one of these areas.
Data Privacy
Personal information about unsuccessful candidates will be held for 12 months after the recruitment exercise has been completed, it will then be destroyed or deleted. We retain de-personalised statistical information about applicants to help inform our recruitment activities, but no individuals are identifiable from that data.
Once a person has taken up employment with Guestline, we will compile a file relating to their employment. The information contained in this will be kept secure and will only be used for purposes directly relevant to that person’s employment. Once their employment with Guestline has ended, we will retain the file in accordance with the requirements of our retention schedule and then delete it.
