Key Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements

• Assess and analyse requirements

• Develop with the coding standards

• Planning and communicating effectively with client and within the team to achieve the best results in the least amount of time

• To be able to prioritize and set objectives

• To be able to adapt quickly and be able to do multiple roles in accordance with the situation

• Ability to take decisions at critical moments and take up ownership

• To be able to respond, and deliver at odd hours when required

• Ability to plan for short trips to client sites if and when required

Technical Skills:

• 10+ years relevant experience in working with MS SQL Server – 2008/2008R2/2012 is mandatory

• Very Strong experience in RDBMS concepts, DB design, modeling of OLTP/DW systems

• Hands-on experience in MS SQL Server Programming

• Should be able to understand/design the datamodel

• Should have experience in datamodel tools e.g ERWIN

• Understand the star schema and snowflake schema

• Creating tables, views, stored procedures and functions

• Creating indeces to improve database performance

• Reviewing query performance and optimizing code

• Technical support to resolve support issues

• Experience on Data warehousing is preferred

• Hands on experience with SSIS is a plus

• Having working knowledge in any of the reporting tools would be an added advantage (e.g SSRS, Power BI etc.)

Educational Qualification:
Bachelors or its equivalent or higher degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
