About the role
We are recruiting for a 12 Month fixed-term Database Assistant to help increase capacity in our Global Operations Database team. As our fundraising activities grow, so does the volume of data we are required to process and we need to ensure that we have the appropriate policies and procedures in place to manage the use of this data. The funds raised enable us to deliver our mission – using the power of the law to protect our planet.
With Raiser’s Edge experience and excellent attention to detail, you will assist with data management and gift administration, ensuring the accurate entry of data via imports from third party platforms, maintaining database integrity and supporting the team with ad-hoc data requests.
Main Duties
- Support the flow of information between our fundraising database (Raiser’s Edge) and email marketing platform (Engaging Networks),
- Create and maintain accurate database records for funders and individual donors
- Processing of donations on a weekly basis
- Support the administration of regular donations & Gift Aid
- Support the reconciliation of income
- Support on data hygiene and maintenance processes

Role requirements
- Experience of working with Raiser’s Edge fundraising database
- Experience of conducting imports into a fundraising database and creating exports
- Experience of processing income and working with finance colleagues
- Experience of using Engaging Networks (desirable)
- Experience of using ImportOmatic (desirable)
- Fluent (CEFR level C2) in English
