Database Architect

THE ROLE
BIG are in the middle of an exciting growth plan and we require a Database Architect to play a central role in how data moves around the business. They will be responsible for expanding, maintaining and optimising our modern data architecture and managing our data platform from design through to end product.
You will be focused on giving seamless access to high quality, tested and documented data throughout the organisation. With a pragmatic approach on how you manage data, the data models that you build will be high quality, organised and perform well and reliably in a production environment.
This is a remote opportunity, with the opportunity to go to their Bournemouth based offices twice a month.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Five years or more experience performing data warehouse architecture development and management
· High proficiency in dimensional modelling techniques and their applications.
· High proficiency in SQL, optimised queries, views, functions, procedures, triggers, etc for integration with other applications.
· Proven experience in delivering Business Intelligence solutions
· Exceptional experience developing codes, testing for quality assurance, administering RDBMS, and monitoring of database
· Experience or Reporting and Business Intelligence tools, SSRS or similar.

Salary: Up to £60,000.00 per year
