About The Role

As a Warehouse Analyst you will provide data analysis and considered recommendations (with detailed plans) for Operational efficiency, maintaining first class data integrity through exception reporting and supporting all National Distribution Centre specific data maintenance requirements across multiple system platforms

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing all master data settings and requirements for SKU setup within the warehouse including master data to identify and maintain functional placement within the warehouse including logical data management
  • Actively managing stock re-warehousing and ensure work with the wider business to manage provision to maintain a high level of viable stock
  • Liaising with third party software providers for system specific master data requirements outside of the Arco remit
  • Analysing and reconciling warehouse specific transactional data and proactively provide recommendations for efficiency improvements and lead the day-to-day analysis within the warehouse
  • Designing, developing and administering data integrity exception reports for material and transactional master data settings
  • Building and administering forecasting model supporting short, medium and long-term operational resource planning for outbound activity and occupy/capacity planning
  • Managing stock value through process improvements alongside other trading variance (OTV) and stock churn
  • Auditing alongside stock investigations to support stock accuracy
  • Developing and maintaining relationships to promote continuous business improvement and challenge the status quo in order to improve efficiency, simplify, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Presenting, facilitating and managing multiple improvement processes simultaneously within approved timeframes to a high standard

About you
The ideal Warehouse Analyst will be/have:
  • Excellent IT Skills – Microsoft package including knowledge of data extraction IE pivot tables essential alongside SAP and WMS knowledge
  • Good working knowledge of logistical, operational, and warehousing processes.
  • Product knowledge including units of measure, pack configurations alongside an understanding of the warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Strong numeracy, literacy and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
