We are looking for someone with a passion for data and analytics who can provide meaningful insights across the business.

Data and Analytics plays a pivotal role in delivering and reviewing strategy for UKG & their customers which impacts all parts of the Business. Providing accurate and automated reporting has become essential for our customers and we should continually improve and develop our analytical capabilities.

Reporting into BI Lead Developer and working alongside stakeholders of all levels, you will use data to drive forward strategic initiatives and make informed data-driven decisions. Providing a central support in the ongoing development of reporting and analytical functions across the business, focus will be placed upon improving analytical systems & processes, ensuring data integrity and driving automation.

Analytical software tools will be used including Alteryx & Tableau to support ongoing data projects. You'll take charge of your own day-to-day analysis, liaising with internal stakeholders, whilst ensuring projects are seen through to completion according to your project plan. You must be able to look beyond the data to find relevant and actionable insights that are useful and relevant to our customers needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build compelling, interactive dashboards in Tableau for internal and external deployment through our Strategic Account Teams.Developing interactive, visually striking graphics and data visualisations using large amounts of data that facilitate the presentation of data.
  • Responsible for making your insights actionable; explaining complex analytics to non-technical audiences and making clear recommendations internally. You should have the ability to discuss and present Tableau dashboards, with a breadth of analytical methodologies across all levels of the business, specifically tailoring your style to the audience
  • Identify market trends, economic impacts and insights using external data to support strategic decision making.
  • Take a pro-active role such as improving process efficiencies and experimenting with new methods and data to enhance our analytics.
  • Assessing the potential of new analytical techniques & software for implementation across the business.
  • Defining and determining appropriate solutions to analytical requests.
  • Project managing your own projects, with documented plans to completion.
  • Independently prioritising long term projects (incorporating departmental feedback) to align to wider business objectives.

Experience:

  • Experience in an analytical role or a relevant qualification.
  • Previous experience using software such as Tableau and Alteryx.
  • Demonstrated ability to create visually advanced dashboards and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to construct, manipulate and manage data sets in Tableau or a related software.
  • Experience presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
