We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Security Officer at one of our clients based in Slough Berkshire for one of the prestigious pharmaceutical companies. The role will be based in an innovative workplace where you will be responsible for maintaining the security requirements of the client whilst maintaining a good corporate image.
As a Security Officer at this site, your duties will include making rounds of inspection, checking doors are securely locked, preventing the admittance to the premises of unauthorised people, and reporting any suspicious behaviour. You will also be required to investigate fire alarm indicators, report any damage to the property and carry out patrols. You will need to maintain a polite, courteous, and friendly manner towards the public, client, and colleagues always. Therefore, you will need to be a positive person, who is happy to interact with people daily.
Main Responsibilities:
- Make rounds of inspection at fixed intervals and report in by means of radio or other devices.
- Remain alert and vigilant to activity on the site to ensure risks are minimised through prompt action and reporting
- Report suspicious persons or vehicles immediately
- Investigate fire alarm indicators in the buildings and respond as per site procedure
- Check that doors and windows are properly shut and locked.

Essential Skills
- SIA Licence
- Excellent customer engagement skills with excellent verbal and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail, timekeeping, and ability to prioritise time effectively
