As a Data strategy manager, you'll join the Engagement Team who maintain close relationships with Business Units to ensure business strategic objectives are enabled through central data & technology capabilities. Leading the relationship between several business units.
The Group recognises that data and analytics are significant business differentiators and play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitions. We are looking to drive a more sophisticated approach as to how it manages data and how it interacts and services its customers through the optimisation of data and analytics. We work together in the Data & Machine Learning delivery Platform within the Group Chief Operating Office to build our strategic Cloud based technology and enabling that technology to release value across the Business.
We’re looking for data strategy managers who are comfortable building business aligned roadmaps to achieve strategic priorities leveraging data & analytics, including Personalisation, Conversational Banking and Digitisation along with identifying new commercialisation opportunities from data & analytics. We want driven, dynamic and innovative individuals who put customers first and thrive in a changing environment. Individuals who can use their experience to support the enablement of business units to transition to cloud technologies. inputting topics such as the operating model, ways or working, user experience/ readiness and dependency interlock.
We’re looking for you to bring fresh ideas, so we’d be looking for you to have 2+ years relevant working experience and proficient in the following areas:
- Experience within a Consumer &/ or Commercial businesses environment.
- Understanding of business & technology strategy, data & analytics enablement & commercialisation of data.
- Knowledge of analytics and data science, relevant tools, and insight on how to support, use and exploit these capabilities.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to lead, syndicate and achieve organisational change.
- An understanding of industry best practice and how to apply this to drive better deliveries for our customers in a cloud environment.
