Key Tasks and responsibilities
THE is looking for a proactive Data Operations Manager with a professional manner to manage a large team of data editors and contractors.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the Data Operations team recruitment when upscaling for data collection cycles.
· Lead and manage contractors and Data Editors, to ensure onboarding/ offboarding and sufficient training is provided to achieve data operations goals.
· Oversee the development of individuals within the team, monitor and evaluate performance providing constructive feedback and coaching where needed. As well as foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with the Head of Data Operations and Finance department to create and manage payroll and budgets for contractors.
· Oversee Contractors schedules and annual leave.
· Assist with maintaining the integrity of the University data, with sufficient documentation, implementing data quality control procedures and perform data audits to identify and correct data inconsistencies and errors.
· Responsible for increasing institution engagement and driving institution numbers for the rankings.
· Manage and implement efficient processes to data collection cycles to drive submission engagement with the aid of team.
· Ensure the accuracy, completeness, security, and timeliness of data entry, processing, and analysis.
· Oversee customer service process and deliverables
· Assist with the overseeing data operations monthly team meetings to ensure coordination and improvements to the team.
· Provide regular updates to Head of Data Operations on team performance, project status with regards to institution engagement within a data collection cycle (submission management) and other relevant information to assist in decision making and strategic development.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management role.
· 3-4 years of management experience
· Knowledge of data management concepts, data integration, data quality, and data governance.
· Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
· Strong leadership and people management skills to effectively guide and inspire teams.
· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Proven track record of achieving and surpassing goals and targets.
· Project management skills are a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
