Product Data Specialist

As a product content specialist, your role is vital to our eCommerce site (StoreMoreStore.com/SMS) in optimizing product information for SMS and ensuring the website's product and pricing integrity. Collaborating closely with the marketing and sales teams, you ensure accuracy and consistency in content for selling and SEO purposes. Leveraging the BigCommerce API, you enhance product details for a seamless customer experience. Your efficient work completion and adherence to deadlines contribute to the team's success.

Location: Hybrid (Lewisville, TX)

Salary: 50,000k-55,000k

Responsibilities

• Draft and load product content contained on SMS, with the goal of optimizing for SEO (with support from the marketing team)
• Responsible for product and pricing integrity.
• Become a subject matter expert in products, vendors, and markets
• Develop standards, systems, and best practices for product loading
• Collaborate with the team to continually enhance the optimization of SMS
• Utilize BigCommerce API to modify product details and metadata
• Work within set deadlines to complete routine tasks

Qualifications:

• 1 Year of e-commerce experience or relevant coursework
• Ability to Multitask, prioritize and successfully meet deadlines
• Experience/knowledge of using Spreadsheets/Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
• Working knowledge of SQL Servers and query writing
• Basic knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Java, PHP, Curl, Node, Ruby
• Experience using APIs to push and fetch data
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript are a plus
