Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Scientist at Premium Lithium, you will play a crucial role in analyzing market trends in the renewable energy sector, building predictive models for cost savings and carbon dioxide reduction for our customers, and providing data-driven solutions to address energy hardships.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for cost savings and carbon dioxide reduction.
  • Build predictive models to forecast energy savings and recommend optimal renewable energy solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborate with product development, software development, and sales teams to integrate data insights into product offerings and marketing strategies.
  • Explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders across various departments, enabling effective communication of research outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of graduate data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Utilise AI intelligently to streamline data gathering processes and enhance data analysis capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist with expertise in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling techniques.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for sustainability and the application of data science to drive positive environmental impact.
