We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information with a Full Scope Polygraph (TS/SCI w FS Poly) clearance to join our team. Our approach to highly complex, agile programs and projects emphasizes key project management best practices throughout the full system development life-cycle, including benchmarking metrics and measurable performance indicators designed to inform strategic and program planning, goals, and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the content manager of the Sponsor's database, performing data cleansing, parsing, and standardization, as well as quality control activities in support of multiple Sponsor analysts.
- Manage and optimize business workflows through automation.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) procedures.
- Manipulate and condition foreign language textual data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
- Build models to address complex business problems.
- Analyze large, complex data sets using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, SQL and database management.
- Experience in content management, quality control/quality assurance practices, and data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) procedures.
- Experience manipulating and conditioning foreign language textual data.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze large, complex data sets using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work well in a team environment.
