Experience of successfully implementing a data warehouse like Google BigQuery, to collect/transform data for analysis using data science techniques. Include evidence that you set up/applied appropriate governance measures.

Demonstrable experience using data science techniques and building solutions, including reports, models, and dashboards to successfully change behaviours and decision- making of data consumers, and achieve innovative outcomes for organisations experience of analysing transactional data architectures across multiple
digital services and how you recommended and implemented positive changes to these architectures/data models without adversely affecting service delivery.

  • 10+ years of IT experience in design and development of data lakes, data warehouses and
BI platforms.
  • 3+ years' experience leading and building team of high-performance data engineers.
  • Strong experience in design, development and operationalization of large-scale enterprise
data solutions promoting best practices across the organization.
  • GCP experience preferred, AWS or Azure experience considered
  • Experience with Big Query, GCS, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub,Kafka, Spark, GCP Pub/Sub.
  • Experience in data architecture, data models, ingestion frameworks, DataOps, and
cloud-based
infrastructure for big data platforms like BigQuery, Databricks,
  • Prepare and manipulate data and perform complex analytics to deliver data-science
products and solutions.
  • Provide real innovation in the application of data science techniques to solve real world
problems, i.e., going beyond standard tools and technologies.
  • Apply appropriate statistical techniques to data to discover new relationships and offer
insight into research problems, helping to improve our organisational processes and
decision making.
  • Present and communicate your solutions effectively to stakeholders with differing levels
of data literacy.
  • Present and communicate the role and benefits of data science within the client,
providing solutions that maximize our insight.
  • Ensure that all science techniques deployed are within recognised industry standard
ethical and security considerations.
  • Ensure resources will have the commensurate applied mathematics, statistical, and
scientific practice skillsets needed to deliver effectively.
  • Deliver moderate to complex programmes and scripts.
  • Scope, design and deliver data science outputs and products throughout the agile
lifecycle.
  • Deliver rich, timely, and accurate data on teacher career paths to improve services,
policies and gather insights to Teacher Services.
