Responsibilities:

Collect, process, and clean large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
Develop predictive models, algorithms, and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure that data-driven solutions are aligned with company goals.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through data visualizations, reports, and presentations.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.
Implement data-driven solutions into production and monitor their performance.
Continuously evaluate and improve existing models and processes.
Deliver analysis and insight which can help drive new/existing revenue streams.
Help answer the wider strategic questions faced by the senior management team.

Skills and Education

Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Strong experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning.
Excellent knowledge of programming languages such as Python and R.
Proficient in SQL and databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Experience building and deploying machine learning models on at least one cloud provider (preferably Azure)
Proven experience in building models and algorithms from scratch
Experience in technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark and NoSQL databases
Experience with time series analysis, modelling, and forecasting
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras NLP experience
Experience with big data processing framework such as PySpark Experience with a cloud-based platform for big data processing and machine learning such as Databricks
