Position Overview
Core Responsibilities
- Develop novel predictive analytics to detect anomalies and underperformance trends using time series sensor data
- Work with the data engineering team to design & deploy artificial intelligence and machine learning applications to production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reach data-driven decisions to improve operations
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer targeted questions or explore relationships between structured and unstructured datasets
- Maintain in-house analytics and code repositories for an evolving and expanding renewable operating portfolio
Required Skills
- Advanced degree in Data Science or related discipline, or 2+ years of work experience in Data Science position
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience finding insight from structured and unstructured data sets
- Excellent understanding of machine learning and AI techniques and algorithms
- Experience deploying large scale models to production including monitoring capabilities and methods for continuous improvement
- Strong communication and visualization skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Experience working with time series or equipment sensor data
- Familiarity with data science cloud platforms including Azure ML or Databricks
- Proficiency with BI visualization tools, such as Power BI
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage
- Experience working in CI/CD workflows
- Familiar with energy industry
