The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical skills to improve public healthcare. You’ll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll mentor teammates, develop algorithms, write scripts, apply machine learning, help scale machine learning applications to new clients and challenges, and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help our federal government clients make informed decisions. You’ll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it. Join us as we use data science for good in public health.

You Have:
2+ years of experience within data science, machine learning, cloud engineering, DevOps, or data strategy
Experience with data visualization tools or technologies, including Tableau, Qlik, or R/Shiny
Experience managing disparate data sources, including preprocessing, cleansing, and verifying data integrity
Experience performing data exploration and analysis to support analytics objectives
Experience with program automation, CI/CD, DevSecOps, or Agile
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language rocessing
Experience with AWS Cloud services
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins
Experience leveraging statistical programming languages, including Python, for developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
Experience with spaCy, FastAPI, Gensim, and Hugging Face
Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or search capabilities
Experience creating data infrastructure models and implementing them in healthcare client systems
Experience with Node and React
Experience working with or deploying a machine learning model into production
Experience with the healthcare or medical device industry
Ability to exhibit flexibility and initiative when dealing with ambiguous and fast-paced situations

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
