About the role
As a Data Scientist at Albelli-Photobox Group, you will be at the forefront of driving digital success by optimizing high-traffic volume websites and photo editor applications. Armed with your expertise in statistics, experimental design, and data analysis, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences and delivering tangible commercial benefits.
Collaborating with the global Product Analytics team, you will directly engage with a diverse range of stakeholders within the product domain, shaping the future of our digital offerings and impacting millions of users across the globe.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy advanced data tools to automate analyses, enabling faster and more efficient decision-making processes.
- Create cutting-edge methodologies for A/B testing, allowing us to identify and implement optimization strategies with greater precision.
- Build predictive models to estimate the potential commercial value of optimization activities, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth data analyses to uncover valuable insights and patterns that drive impactful improvements.
- Work closely with engineers to bring analytical models and tools into production, contributing to seamless implementation.
- Champion best practices in analysis and experimental design, fostering a culture of data-driven excellence within the team and beyond.

Experience and Attributes we’d like to see:
- Master’s degree in data science, statistics, econometrics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
- A solid foundation of statistics and predictive modelling
- Proven experience (4+ years) with statistical analysis, experimental design, data visualization, and machine learning
- Well-versed in Python, R and SQL
- Knowledge of Looker / Shiny Apps, HEX or similar
- Collaborative code development experience, including version control, code review and sharing
Nice to Have Experience:
- Knowledge of the Dutch, German, French, or Spanish language would be advantageous.
