WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an immediate start for a Data Quality Analyst to work within our Operations Data Strategy team. The Alfred H Knight Data Quality Graduate Programme is the perfect start for a graduate looking to develop their skills and build a long term career with a company at the forefront of the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry, operating within the metals, minerals and solid fuels sectors.
Based in our UK Global Headquarters in the North West of England, the role will involve an eighteen month development programme. During this time you will spend time learning about AHK, working within, and gaining an understanding of our growing Operations Data Strategy team, managing data quality standards and providing data analytics to the wider business.

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential Experience
- A proven track record of a logical methodical approach to working
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, challenge and present
- Reporting experience with Excel (pivot tables, graphs etc)
- Enquiring mind with the ability to spot and challenge outlier results
- Strong attention to detail, completer finisher mindset
Required Personal Qualities
- Independence: the ability to take initiative, lead projects and be proactive in prioritising a dynamic and diverse workload.
- Interpersonal: confidence in forming effective working relationships with a diverse range of people, including working inclusively and as part of a team.
- Communication: effective oral and written communication of ideas with an excellent command of English. You will be working with both internal and external stakeholders.

- Analytical: the ability to draw accurate and informative conclusions from detailed research without losing sight of the bigger picture.

Required Work Experience
- Prior experience with BI tools specifically Power-Bi
- Prior experience with Project management tools, specifically Asana is desirable
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent level education in relevant discipline
