About The Role
We are excited to share that we have a brand-new opportunity to join The Nottingham as a Data Quality Analyst!! We are heavily investing in the Society’s new strategy and are amidst a key and exciting time with a large, progressive change agenda.
You will line directly into our brand-new Director of Data Strategy supporting the Society to realise its data assets. This realisation will be achieved by improving data quality, this will be a key focus for 2023 with a view to producing value-generating insights for the business over time.
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our new data strategy, you will gain broad exposure and will have an opportunity to support the Director of Data Strategy as our work evolves to align with our wider business goals and purpose.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing as a Data Quality Analyst at The Nottingham -
- Production of data quality scorecards monthly for core systems
- Monitor and audit data quality and instruct data asset owners to fix data quality issues
- Visualise missing data patterns and create value generating insights from our data
- Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully using reporting tools
- Attend the Data Governance Group monthly as a subject matter expert
- Drive for continuous improvement and seek the big insight to develop your skills/knowledge further
What we’re looking for –
- You will have transferable skills, experience with SQL and will be comfortable working with excel and large complex data set
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical messages to non-technical audiences is essential
- You will be collaborative and curious with a drive for continuous improvement
