Receive and produce data quality reports, identify and investigate problem areas.Amend and update patient information as required on the Trusts Patient Administration System (PAS).Request notes and validate information held on the Trusts PAS system.Create the daily Data Quality Report on patient demographics.Assist in e delivery of the NHS Number Programme, including ensuring NHS Number completeness and execution of the batch tracing process.Correct patient activity data for all departments throughout the Trust including requests from the Information Assurance Manager, the PbR Team and the Clinical Coding Department.Resolve duplicate registrations.Run reports from the NHS Spine Portal as well as local systems and action as appropriate.Deal with redirected correspondence returned to the Trust.Respond to telephone queries from staff and assist them with data quality queries.Use own initiative to investigate data quality issues within guidelines and procedures.Efficient and effective use is made of the various computer systems to ensure the accurate recording of patient information and record-keeping functions.Contribute to ensuring the highest quality of data is recorded on PAS.Maintain patient confidentiality under the provision of the Data Protection Act 1998.Maintain filing and documentation using established Trust/departmental systems.
