Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed term contract/secondment until December 2024

We are looking for a proactive Data Protection Manager to lead our inhouse data protection function.
We need you to ensure that data privacy is at the heart of everything that we do and that we meet required standards and best practice.
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you will draw on your technical expertise and your knowledge of the sector to lead an in-house team of data protection specialists to support the business.
Working with the Director of Governance and key stakeholders across the business you will lead on implementing and monitoring a compliance framework and culture to ensure that the organisation is compliant.
You will be required to display effective communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to engage and influence senior managers across the business.
A strong collaborative style is essential for this complex national organisation which has many competing pressures and a complex regulatory framework.
The ability to work under pressure and prioritise is essential in this busy team.
You’ll need a strong track record in writing policies and procedures.
