At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.

As data is reshaping the business world, how do we provide a differentiated, data-powered service to our clients?

Success in a constantly evolving world demands businesses transform into intelligent enterprises. They must adopt technologies fueled by data to uncover new insights and make more informed decisions, and they need to ensure their use of data and technology is underpinned by trust to win credibility in the markets in which they operate.

To support this new working world and remain market leaders, EY is also transforming into a data-powered organization. Our strategic evolution enables us to provide new services and solutions, enrich client experiences and find smarter ways of working.

The Data Office is the engine driving EY’s transformation. It reframes how we find, manage, use and scale data to realize its full power and fuel new intelligent technologies. Fundamental to this transformation is the evolution and adoption of a data product approach that will unlock the value of data from across EY’s business.

As a Data Product Owner; you will be instrumental in driving a data product mindset across EY; able to build a next generation data product practice that will support EY’s global business. You will be a commercially focused, proven, delivery orientated data professional that is passionate for the transformative role of data.

With trusted access to un-paralleled volumes of data assets from across EY’s business network – how can you unlock value?

The opportunity

EY’s Data Office is looking for a proactive, dynamic, and adaptable team member to join the Organization Intelligence group. Organization Intelligence is EY’s market differentiating data product of over 240 million companies, which collates and processes data from a diverse set of sources to produce a large knowledge graph of organization, industry, and geography data. The product provides services and insights to EY’s Service Lines and clients.

The new member will join our diverse and inclusive team, based around the world, to work in an agile and high-performance environment to expand and promote our product and the services we offer to our consumers.

The Product Owner of Organization Intelligence offers a unique opportunity for anyone curious about how data services spanning a variety of data entities will empower the business going forwards. Whilst retaining many facets of the start-up culture which brought the product to market, it’s a role which combines technical programme management across multiple teams with an interface into the data-oriented capabilities of the Global Data Office.

Your key responsibilities

Reporting to the Organization Intelligence Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the technical delivery of the next generation of data services provided by Organization Intelligence leaning into new data products and technologies in order to meet increasing demand for services across the business.

Fundamentally, you will be responsible for the translation of business product requirements gathered by the Product Manager into technical delivery programmes scoped into quarterly Programme Increments. This includes the day to day oversight of dependencies (inbound and outbound) across the programme, sprint level delivery progress and resolving blocked items, whilst working collaboratively with team leads to identify and ideate opportunities to continuously improve Organization Intelligence’s data asset and the services it provides to consumers.

Whilst there is a mature operational model in place for the planning, every sprint brings a unique set of challenges which require management and oversight from the product owner driving further process improvement.

In return, you will satisfy your natural curiosity for data, data provenance and sources, compliance and access controls in the context of an industry leading Enterprise Data Management platform. And you will be leading and learning from a diverse team of talented data literate specialists who have successfully brought a unique product to market.
