The Launch and Data function sits within the GSK Ware Manufacturing site’s Logistics Management team. The team is responsible for providing the site with accurate and timely data to facilitate new product launches and to ensure that all aspects of the manufacture of products are performed in a controlled manner and meets commitments to international regulatory bodies, as well as the requirements of current Good Manufacturing Practice.
Reporting into the Harmonisation Manager (for the Process, Launch and Data team), the role exists to provide Commercial data in support of Launch and New Product Introduction (NPI) strategic ambitions (aligned to projects). This extends to ensuring that all data, systems and documentation are delivered accurately and on-time to the required standard of quality and compliance (ensuring adherence to site and above site data quality standards). Key elements of the role include supporting projects to be completed on-time, ensuring that all data (documentation) and aligned systems are set up to ensure no business disruptions. Data provision also needs to be aligned to NPI objectives (development, Clinical Trial and Stability) and Commercial Finished Pack ways of working.
Key Responsibilities (include..,):
Data provision and maintenance in core business systems (e.g. SAP, SNP, CDISY) for data objects. This includes Purchasing Information, Master Recipes/Production Versions, Sales and Distribution, as well as New Product Launches, Dual source APIs and Transfers (for NPI strategy).
Ensuring data culture is maintained across the Ware site (eg; ensuring tasks are completed on time, managing data performance, driving business process change to ensure data quality; eg; SRM and review of run-rates).
Preparing data reports to support business processes, performance and improvement (including Inventory Management, Conformance to Plan, Batches out of Lead Time, Invoice Workflows. Producing Key Performance Indicators to drive continuous improvement).
Ensuring data quality is built-in to data-provision with regular performance reviews, and managing delivery to defined data rules, process and data provision/cleansing.
Provide support for audit-readiness and compliance with Safety and Quality standards.
Support the creation of new and revised procedures, auditing, and corrective actions to improve performance.
About You:
This role would suit a motivated person who has experience of working in a complex supply chain role (within a GMP environment). Knowledge of key data systems is required (e.g.: M-ERP, eBRS, CDISY). Good people skills and a proven ability to work in a team (eg; flexible approach, good communication, planning and organizational skills) as well as good writing skills are needed. You will also have a strong continuous improvement growth mindset and a willingness to work towards standardised and lean working practices.
About Ware Manufacturing Site:
Medicines at Ware are presented as either Respiratory devices or in Oral Solid Dose form. The site holds a unique position in our network as the only site responsible for launching the company’s pipeline of new medicines in these dose forms, many of which are life saving medicines. A series of investments in new state-of-the-art equipment are being made that will support the delivery of a record number of new products.

Basic Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications and / or experience in a Data-Mgt or Supply Chain role (eg; business process, good understanding of GMP processes).
