Job description
About the Role:
CrowdStrike is in the business of data protection and stop breaches for its customers.
- Learn and understand what holistic data protection entails and why privacy and cybersecurity are highly depended from each other.
- Help evaluate processes from all functions and new technological inventions for compliance with privacy regulations.
- Research the differences in data retention and other regulations across global locations where we process data and present the implications.
- Help draft and implement policies and procedures to standardize the protection of personal data.
- Implement data privacy and protection solutions and best practices to ensure our compliance with data privacy laws, regulations and requirements.
- Collaborate with different business functions to ensure privacy by design and default is built-in to processes and projects.
- Work with the Data Privacy team to increase company-wide awareness of privacy initiatives, legislation and best practices.
- Develop data privacy training materials, resources and communications.
Requirements: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s (or similar) degree majoring in Privacy or IT laws, Information Security, Pre-law, Information Technology or other similar majors, internship
