Conducts research assessments on study participants. Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Assists with training staff. Ensures adherence to protocols and corrects issues with data collection.

Essential Functions Responsible for providing data management support for a Combined Thrombectomy for Distal Medium Vessel Occlusion Stroke trial. The Assistant Data Manager will work directly with the Senior Data Manager to execute data management activities. The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining all analysis datasets, working in conjunction with the statisticians. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining the data management Manual of Operations and other study and system documentation. This Assistant Data Manager will be responsible to generate and distribute recruitment, retention and monitoring reports, and training of new study personnel. This Assistant Data Manager will meet with the project coordinator on a weekly basis to review progress, resolve issues identified by quality control procedures, and to address requests for modifications to data forms and/or reports by collaborating with other data management personnel in the team.
