Job description
The Manager Data Analytics will establish and execute the overall strategy for employee data at the company. This includes data governance practices, tools, technology, and the team required to provide actionable information and insights about our people to drive a rewarding employee experience, and business success. They will partner closely with business, HR Leaders, and other functions to collect and analyze HR data, offer actionable analysis and reporting to managers and executives, and will interface with HR and other business functions to enable them to meet their business objectives through data and analytics. This role will also be responsible for developing predictive analytics that will compel specific business decisions.

Major Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute the people analytics vision and strategy. Serve as the domain expert and clearly tie people analytics to business objectives and outcomes.
- Provide strategic support to the Human Resource function in the areas of people metrics, reporting, and advanced predictive analytic capabilities, including actionable insights on topics such as attrition, attraction, development, engagement, and retention that support the strategic direction of the business.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across the HR service areas (staffing, talent management, learning and development, diversity, compliance, labor relations) to promote data governance and stewardship, and to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insight.
- Develop data and analytics competencies across the HR function by educating and empowering HR teams with advanced analytic methods and insights
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Monitors Data & Analytic trends to identify opportunities of improvement and leverages recognized technical and business expertise to influence, guide, and shape business strategy and decision-making at the highest organizational levels.
- Develop data analytics & reporting program roadmap and lead, motivate, and drive the data governance process and ensure standards and processes for master data are followed.
- Oversee HR data integrity and governance. Together with the HR Compliance/HR Audit team, identify any data discrepancies and oversee data hygiene for people analytics to ensure accuracy and clean data.
- Understand and reconcile gaps, overlaps, and apparent contradictions among and within reports and reporting tools.
- n/a In addition to the above, standard management level responsibilities may include directing and supervising assigned personnel, conducting performance appraisals, scheduling, and training. Makes decisions on hiring, transfers, firing, budget, and departmental goals. Carries out entity and system level strategy, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and promotes the standards of respect. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and all health and safety programs.

Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience/Skill:
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and People Analytics space providing reports, analysis and building scorecards and dashboard.
- Ability to present data and recommendations in a meaningful & user-friendly way.
- Ability to draft actionable insights and executive-level summaries and presentations with little or no oversight.
- Experience analyzing complex people data (e.g. headcount, attrition, recruiting metrics, diversity metrics).
- Analytical skills to draw appropriate conclusions from data, anticipating second and third order of effects when making recommendations
- Leveraging data available to ensure initiatives are fact-based and drive business outcomes.
- Hands-on expertise in data analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting.
- Prior experience in data modelling to support creation of advanced analytics, BI toolsets, and automated reporting.
- Demonstrated skill in attention to detail and accuracy with data.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, project management, and process documentation skills.
- Ability to influence, partner and develop productive relationships with senior HR leadership and other parties to deliver a consistent employee experience.
- Ability to lead and develop high performing team of resources.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment subject to changing priorities and short deadlines.
- Ability to define and communicate goals and develop action plans when needed.
- Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information on a daily basis and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred:
- Functional knowledge of Workday.
