The Sr Associate Master Data Management is responsible for managing the entry, maintenance, adherence to standard design, and accuracy of Master Data elements which include but not limited to Commercial, Clinical, and Raw Material Masters and Material Requests in SAP:
1. Manage the entry and maintenance of Basic and Quality Data elements (may include MRP, Procurement and Warehouse elements as well) which includes but is not limited to Commercial, Clinical, and Raw Material Masters and Material Requests in SAP
2. Provide process and system guidance and training to department staff and maintain Global Master Data training material.
3. Extract, compile and interpret data relevant for periodic metrics and reporting needs.
4. Provide continued Master Data leadership in managing core data needs.
5. Upholds global master data governance process.
6. Support or manage process improvement initiatives and projects.
8. Provide business process guidance to internal clients on the workflow process.
7.Apply analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex situations/problems using multiple sources of information.
9. Participate in BPO’s global forum.
10. Test SAP functionality, support ERP releases.
11. Monitor functional area data quality reports and identify revisions to data quality reports, to proactively prevent, identify, monitor, and correct master data errors.
12. Accountable for achieving data accuracy targets and service level agreements.
12. Manage Data Quality Metrics/KPIs reporting and monthly Material Master Data Governance Forum minutes.
13. May manage change control that impacts SAP Material Master Data.
14. May own department documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Supply Chain/SAP ERP/Master Data Governance
Or Associate's degree and 4 years’ experience in Supply Chain/SAP ERP/ Master Data Governance
Or High school diploma/GED and 6 years’ experience in Supply Chain/SAP ERP/Master Data Governance
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related experience in Supply Chain, Master Data Governance, SAP ERP
- Expertise in SQL, Excel and Tableau or like platforms
- Comfortable leading cross-functional work & working in an agile environment
- Self-starter with high attention to detail, able to work on assigned tasks independently, able to identify and initiate discussions about opportunities for process improvement.
