Job Scope:
We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Data Coordinator to join the amazing Fundraising team, who will support the team and ensure that the supporters receive the highest standard of customer service, and that all fundraising income is processed and thanked in a timely manner.
The role is working an average 36.25 hours per week Monday to Friday and is a hybrid role of no less than 2 days a week office based and working from home 3 days per week.
The Fundraising Data Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the fundraising database by updating and entering daily income, processing payments, researching, and generating reports, and ensuring accurate and timely data updates. Additionally, the Fundraising Data Coordinator will serve as the primary contact for existing supporters and new donors, managing donor information and ensuring donations are collected accurately and on time.
The Fundraising Data Coordinator will also be responsible for providing excellent supporter care by assisting with inquiries, telephone donations, and preparing correspondence, particularly 'Thank You' letters, to foster strong donor relationships.
The duties of the Fundraising Data Coordinator include assisting with monthly gift aid claims, ensuring up-to-date declarations are filed for auditing purposes. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the supporter care program by identifying changes in supporter behaviour, such as reactivation, and notifying fundraisers and marketers accordingly. The Fundraising Data Coordinator will provide system training to new users and may assist and participate in fundraising events as needed.
Do you have?
- Experience of working within the fundraising or not for profit sector
- Good understanding of Gift Aid procedures.
- Worked with database software preferably Raiser’s Edge
- Demonstrable experience of customer service and data processing.
- Proven experience of office administration systems.
- High computer literacy with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent customer services skills, both verbal and written.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
