Overview /Objective
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Analytics to join our Data & Analytics team at the NFL. The Manager of Analytics will be based out of our New York City office and will be responsible for managing stakeholders from marketing and marketing technology teams. They will primarily focus on supporting marketing analytics activities using fan data, including campaign performance analysis, measurement, and KPI tracking. The role also entails ensuring the accuracy and quality of data to the NFL’s marketing technology platforms. The candidate should possess a strong background in marketing analytics, data quality management, and have experience in effectively utilizing customer data for performance marketing. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like economics, business analytics, or a related discipline, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and collaborate with stakeholders from marketing and marketing technology teams to understand their analytics needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Support marketing analytics activities by analyzing campaign performance, measuring marketing effectiveness, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize fan data to perform in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns, including segmentation, customer profiling, and predictive modeling.
- Effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders, translating complex data analysis into clear and concise insights.
- Collaborate with marketing and marketing technology teams to ensure that martech platforms are receiving accurate and relevant data.
- Monitor and maintain data quality, performing regular audits and validations to ensure integrity and reliability of marketing data.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL, Python, and Dataiku.
- Develop and implement marketing attribution models to measure the impact of different marketing channels and campaigns.
- Work with the BI COE to create dashboards to provide insights and recommendations based on marketing analytics findings.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in marketing analytics and data quality management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including performance marketing and marketing technology, to align analytics initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with analytics consulting vendors.
- Foster a collaborative and agile work environment, leveraging tools like Jira for project management and task tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, preferably with a focus on campaign performance analysis and measurement.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL and Python.
- Solid understanding of marketing attribution models and methodologies.
- Familiarity with MarTech platforms particularly Adobe and their integration with data environments
- Proven experience in ensuring data quality and integrity in a marketing analytics context.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of analysts.
- Industry certifications in marketing analytics or related fields.
- Experience working with fan data and utilizing it effectively for marketing analytics.

Salary / Pay Range

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week at minimum
- FLSA exempt.
