Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, optimize and oversee conceptual and logical data model, cloud native systems and flows across system estate
  • Reporting into CEO/ CIO
  • Architect key data entities and lead improvement processes end2end through evaluation of impact of changes to model, systems and flows to the overall data landscape
  • Provide a logical data model with elements needed for the creation of data quality rules linked to business outcome
  • Review current models, systems and practices for data management, suggest and lead on prioritised improvements in accordance with organisation objectives and KPIs
  • Steer technological advancement and closely follow modern technology developments, e.g. columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, and unstructured data utilisation
  • Focus on leading the design, development and management of a single source / DWH solution, incl. project plan, resources and roadmap
  • Provide logical data model as a standard for the golden source and for consuming applications to inherit
  • Fully own the management of all data sources, incl. data validation, maintenance of the golden source throughout its lifetime and establishing responsibilities of data management tasks; with authority to mobilise resources from other divisions as required
  • Own data source catalogue / map
  • Drive ML adoption, ML experimentation and ML Ops

Skill Required

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise DWH architecture
  • Proven experience of defining and implementing data strategy and governance
  • Extensive experience in data modelling and DWH design principles. Apply industry best practices to solve complex problems
  • Proven experience implementing complex ETL and streaming processes from various data sources
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL
  • Understanding value levers and be able to translate KPIs to business activity
  • Familiar with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Amazon Web Services, Erwin) and ML services like Snowpark, AWS Sagemake.
