Data Visualization Manager

The candidate should be eager to learn, develop, and become a foundational member of this exciting company in the ecommerce space.

About the Role

Conversion Path is looking for a data visualization expert who will help continue to build, develop, and maintain the reporting infrastructure including the underlying database, business intelligence reports, and data visualizations to deliver both internal and external reporting and insights. In this role, the Data Visualization Manager will be responsible to retrieve, compile, organize, and transform data to create intelligent ways to help our teams effectively analyze and optimize client media investments.

Conversion Path is initially looking to hire one candidate who displays the ability to understand team and client needs, problem solve, and someone who possesses the ability to lead a team as this department eventually grows. The candidate needs to not only understand the digital marketing landscape, performance metrics, and how they work in concert, but also how to effectively display this information in digestible visual formats.

Responsibilities

Solution Design:

· Define the variables and outputs to achieve intended insights.

· Assist in strategic development through creation of custom reports that provide platform/ad

channel/funnel level reporting across all Conversion Path clients.

· Support the development of automated QA processes to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.

· Support the development of attribution software and reporting capabilities

· Work with Account Managers and Client Strategy Directors to improve internal visibility/trackability of client/team performance

· Collect data requirements from client teams to understand reporting needs.

Development & Implementation

· Manage data provisioning through collaboration with our database partner.

· Manage data compiling, mapping, and verification to ensure accuracy and data quality.

· Support onboarding of new clients by replicating reporting templates.

· Support key initiatives by providing high-quality data visualizations specific to the project

· Work with Operations Management team to support internal dashboard needs

Maintenance & Support

· Manage ongoing quality control checks to verify data accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies.

· Provide ongoing support to all Power Platform solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures and optimizations to enhance the systems.

Documentation & Communication

· Create and maintain technical documents, including solution design, documents, user guides, and training materials.

· Capable of explaining complex concepts, issues, and details to less technical stakeholders in a clear and concise way.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would be capable of taking SQL tables to build reports, dashboards, and apps in PowerBI using DAX expressions, create measures, and transform data. They should have proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel advanced functions and formulas. They must have the ability to ETL large data sets from multiple sources and design reports and dashboards to analyze KPIs.

The perfect candidate also has all of the above skills along with a high degree of reliability, ambition, and organizational skills to keep up with multiple projects at once, strive for continual improvements, and the ability to learn new concepts and find creative ways to apply those concepts to our BI environment. They are curious self-starters with a passion for problem solving, learning new concepts, and constantly improving things.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Economics, Computer Science, Information

Systems, Business Analytics, or related field OR equivalent professional work experience.

· Minimum 3 years SQL experience

· Minimum 3 years Microsoft BI experience

· Minimum 3 years Microsoft Azure experience

· 1 year experience PowerApps

· Preferred experience in marketing or agency environment

· Experience with digital advertising and analytics platforms
