By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as a Data Insight Analyst you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living.
You will be part of Scotland’s leading charity providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again. Our Hospital to Home services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.
This role is essential to promoting Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland’s work and ambition that there should be No Life Half Lived in Scotland.
CHSS is about to launch its exciting new Digital Strategy which we want you to be a part of. We’re looking for two people who have a strong background in mathematics or statistics and have experience in working in a data related role, preferably with a healthcare focus. Both roles require advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel and Power BI with either an emphasis on the ability to code in R or in Python.
You will be joining a great, supportive team, working alongside our data specialist, the other data insight analysts, and wider digital and data team to carry out analyses of both internal and external data in order to provide the best quality of service provision to the people with our conditions.
The post-holder will be able to work and analyse data independently, have excellent presentation skills and enjoy working as part of a busy data team.

This role is a full time post with 32.5 hours a week, based flexibly between our office in central Edinburgh and working from home.
