We are looking for an effective team player with a flexible approach who can plan and organise their workload, prioritising as required. You should have a good standard of general education – educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) or above with relevant secretarial qualifications (RSA III or equivalent) and demonstrate a good standard of English.
Previous experience in the NHS is preferred. We are looking to recruit a friendly, efficient and self- motivated individual to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting new role which will work across both the Bookings Team and Pre-Operative Assessment Suite to support the introduction of our new remote pre-operative assessment, MyPreOp tool.
You will need to possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and demonstrate a good understanding of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). The role includes data collection and entry, general clerical duties, reception work, making appointments and contacting patients by phone, as such strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills are essential. You will be responsible for monitoring our electronic appointment books and working with MyPreOp tool to ensure patient compliance.
