We’re looking for a professional Data Governance Manager to join our London team and who will be reporting to the Head of Data Governance. The Data Governance Manager will lead and manage Clarions data governance activities and will have the responsibility for improving the quality and managing the protection of sensitive data and information assets.
The role will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to the data governance framework for data policies, standards and practices to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet overall business needs. The Data Governance Manager will serve as an escalation point for data governance and data quality issues and will work closely with data owners and stewards to improve the quality and value of core data assets to support the strategic requirements.
Other key responsibilities include the following:
- Lead and motivate your team through monthly 1:1 meetings, team meetings and annual performance reviews to ensure key performance targets are being met within service standards.
- Establish Clarions data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities
- Implement the data governance plan and all its constituent parts to maximise the value of data governance to Clarion
- Lead the engagement with Data Owners and Data Stewards to ensure data governance is embedded within Clarion

We’re looking for someone who has an understanding of the information lifecycle through proven experience in data management and/or data governance activities. With a track record of developed leadership skills with a people focus and demonstrable delivery of performance management, you’ll have advanced experience in stakeholder management, able to grow and develop the stakeholder engagement across the community. You’ll also be highly organised and excellent planning skills in order to scope projects and initiatives; clear evidence of seeing an initiative through from conception to implementation.
