Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming parts orders from customers via phone, email, or fax.
- Effectively respond to customer questions and inquiries with suitable solutions.
- Process and monitor in-house customer repairs of equipment, ensuring materials are timely processed and invoiced.
- Prepare customs documents and air bills as required.
- Issue invoice credits as required.
- Issue invoices for re-billable freight charges.
- Generate quotations.
- Work closely with internal Purchasing and Manufacturing Departments to obtain current part pricing and lead times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1 year of experience handling a high volume of inbound calls or working in a customer support role.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication skills. Superior customer service skills.
- Solid computer skills with a proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Excellent phone etiquette.
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and establish priorities.
- Must be a forward-thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
- Possess and demonstrate effective time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
