Job description
Imperial Personnel are recruiting for a Data Entry Operative to join our client in Worksop on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring customs declarations are completed on time and in full to allow goods to move.
Hours and Pay:
£23,500pa
Monday - Friday
Rotational Shift Pattern (08:00am-4:30pm and 12:30pm-9pm)
Responsibilities:
· Accurate data entry.
· Preparation and completion of customs entries for export and import.
· To respond to customs queries such as duty rates, commodity codes, licences and documentation.
· Ensuring the calculation of duty and VAT is accurately reflected in the entry acceptance.
· To maintain alignment with current and new legislation and custom procedures.
· To ensure compliance at all times, whilst able to work in a multi-software setting.
Requirements:
· Organised with good attention to detail.
· Good telephone manner.
· Previous office experience.
· PC and Microsoft Office skills.
· The ability to effectively communicate with any stakeholders, colleagues and customers.
· Customs or logistics knowledge would be advantageous.
